Summer is always such a wonderful time of year, as the temperature gets warmer and the days get longer. And given the very difficult days we've all come through this Spring, the warm sunny days are especially welcome this year.
Camden has remained open and operational during the COVID-19 pandemic, while putting the health and safety of our customers and staff first. As Camden's beloved mascot, I got to see firsthand how hard everyone here has been working. These 6" round stainless steel faceplates are available with 'SGLR' option green/red/blue light ring, for annunciation of switch or door closed/locked status, and 5 different graphics, including French language graphics. 6" round faceplates are designed to be mounted on single gang in-wall electrical box or CM-79A semi-flush escutcheon.

36" Column switches are now available with Camden's award-winning Kinetic
™
no-battery wireless transmitter!. Kinetic™ is an advanced 900 Mhz. 'power harvesting' wireless system that uses the energy created by the operation of the switch to power the wireless transmitter
.
Eliminating the batteries avoids annual maintenance and hazardous waste disposal in landfills. Kinetic by Camden™ offers the reliable performance of a wired system for less than ½ the installed cost. Kinetic™ features up to a 300' range, with switches rated for one million cycles. Kinetic™ also features an ultra-compact receiver that's easily installed in automatic door operator cabinets.
36" TALL COLUMN SWITCHES NOW AVAILABLE IN STAINLESS STEEL
Camden has introduced a stainless steel 36" tall Column switch, CM-7536SS. The new stainless steel model provides a vandal resistant design with a brushed stainless steel finish that compliments any decor. Stainless steel Column™ switches are supported with a wide range of graphic options, including graphics featuring a 'active wheelchair' symbol.
The Column™ switch stainless-steel finish are color matched to Camden's 42" tall and 48" tall 'DSU' model stainless-steel mounting posts (bollards).
COLUMN™ SWITCHES ARE AN IDEAL CHOICE FOR ELIMINATING THE SPREAD OF GERMS
An increasing number of equipment specifiers and installers are choosing Column™ switches as a professional response to COVID-19 and the new mandate to eliminate the spread of germs! This is because Column™ switches can be easily operated by arm, hip or foot - avoiding the need to operate the switch by hand. Today, Column™ switches are not only the preferred choice to meet state and provincial building code requirements for high/low switches (the requirement for a switch to be mounted at the height of a hand and the foot of a wheelchair). They are also an excellent alternative to no-touch switches!

RADIUS FACEPLATES FOR CX-ED1309 SERIES NOW AVAILABLE
We've just released new radius ANSI square and metal door faceplates for our 1309 Series electric strikes. Radius faceplates are
designed to fit the rounded edge
of some storefront doors and are available in brushed aluminum or dark bronze finishes
.
Our compact
CX-ED1309 Series Grade 1 strikes are designed for cylindrical and spring latch locksets and offer 'Universal' performance including field selectable voltage and fail safe/fail secure operation.

RED / GREEN / BLUE MODELS NOW SHIPPING
Aura™ illuminated RGB (red-green-blue) push plate switch enclosures now shipping in place of the Red/Green models.
CM-54 (surface square) CM-55 (flush square) and CM-57 (flush round) illuminated push plate enclosures and switch kits provide high visibility and enhanced user convenience in ADA compliant automatic door and other applications.
The mounting boxes are compatible with the widest range of 4-1/2" All-Active push plate switches in the industry (n
o model number change). Aura™ illuminated switch enclosures are field selectable, feature a built-in sounder and available in surface and flush models.

CX-12 PLUS DOOR INTERFACE RELAY NOW IN STOCK!
Designed for easy interconnection of automatic doors with access control, time control, telephone entry and fire alarm systems, the CX-12 PLUS Door Interface Relay provides bi-directional sequencing of two door operators in vestibule applications. And,
the new 'PLUS' feature supports basic restroom control (locked & unlocked).
The CX-12 PLUS has eight programming modes with three adjustable time delays, each up to 30 seconds. There are (2) Dry, (2) Wet inputs, and (2) SPDT Form 'C' outputs.
Compact in design, it fits anywhere and offers momentary, maintained and latching (ratchet or alternative action) relay operation.
This relay combines the industry-leading features of Camden's CX-12 Switch Network, including easy system interconnection, and its CX-22 Dual Function Relay, providing bi-directional door sequencing and basic restroom control. CX-12 PLUS replaces the CX-12 and CX-22 models.

Did you know that our CM-9800/3
surface mount capacitive touch switches
are now available with a 'Push to Open' option? IP 66 rated and ADA & ROHS compliant, CM-9800 capacitive touch switches offer color selectable LED illumination, with vandal and weather resistant cast metal construction, and an adjustable 0 to 60 second relay timer. Illumination is highly visible in low light conditions and easily activated by either the switch or door (locked) status.

MEET OUR CV-7600 SERIES BLUETOOTH-ENABLED
CARD READER
We're pleased to bring to market a mobile-ready reader based on RFID technology that combines Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and contactless smart card technologies.
In operation, it's capable of reading data stored on a contactless smartcard credential via high frequency, as well as reading data from a mobile credential stored in a smartphone's wallet app via BLE technology-without physical contact - and then passing the data obtained to the physical access control system.
Our Bluetooth-enabled mobile readers are an ideal choice for users who prefer to use their smartphones as their mobile access credential
