Camden's new TAC IP integrated VoIP and browser-based telephone entry and access control system is designed to change your expectation of system flexibility, features, user convenience and value! And, there's more good news - it is the first of system of its kind to provide recurring monthly revenue (RMR) to the installing dealer!
TAC IP reduces phone line charges, comes with a built-in camera (for image capture) and provides revolutionary call management features, including sequence, broadcast and call scheduling. The suite directory accommodating up to 2000 names and the access control software even supports elevator control!

LED Illumination now standard

Did you know that both our CM-30 Series 2" square illuminated exit switches as well as our CM-300 Series rectangular illuminated switches are now supplied with LED illumination? We've eliminated the incandescent versions, and '-LED' options. The model numbers have not changed and, more good news - neither has the price!

Camden's Electric Strikes receive UL 294 listing
|
We're proud to announce Camden has received UL 294 (Access Control System Units Standard) listing for our complete line of industry-leading electric strikes!
UL 294 listed models include our Grade 1 ANSI, Grade 2 ANSI, Grade 1 ANSI Fire, Grade 1 'All In One', and Grade 1 RIM strikes. This new UL 294 listing is in addition to the UL 1034 Burglary and UL 10C Fire listings Camden has already obtained.

Meet our new Restroom Control Solution: combo switch, aura enclosure and barrier-free system kit

We've just released our new CM-2520/48 'Push to Open' and 'Push to Lock' combo push plate switch, for use in OBC code compliant barrier-free restroom control systems. CM-2520/48 push plate switches are available as a wall switch, assembled in an Aura™ illuminated enclosure (with sign) and as part of a complete restroom control kit.

Camden delivers a whole new value proposition to specifying architects/engineers!
|
Camden is very proud to support the architect, engineer, and the spec writer community with a wide range of online support services! Camden has added a new section to our web site that supplies a comprehensive list of specifier resources, include a complete directory of system Design Guides, Case Studies, as well as a Directory of product and project documents, including product specification sheets (shop drawings), system wiring diagrams, 3-part project specifications and CAD drawings. A&E's can also use online tools to request design assistance, including project design recommendations, equipment quotations, and a complete listing of agency approvals, including UL, ETA and CSA. The new A&E section of our site has launched with a deep library of system solutions to support applications that span the Access Control and Automatic Door market. Moving forward, our mandate is to continuously expand and enhance the content and services that are available!
In addition to new A&E support services offered on our web site, Camden is also connected to the A&E community through a range of online specification and pricing portal web sites, including Arcat, Avaware, CAD Details and TOAD.

Camden is excited to welcome Chris Lyons as our new U.S. Regional Manager. Chris is responsible for the management of Camden sales representatives in the south east and central U.S. Chris is a well-known industry veteran and brings extensive sales management and locking hardware experience to this new position.. Introducing our newest 'ANSI' Grade 1 fire rated electric strike
|
We're pleased to announce the release of our newest strike, the CX-ED1410. This Grade 1 ANSI fire strike for UL fire rated doors/frames with cylindrical locksets provides optimum electric strike quality and performance. It offers dual 12/24 Voltage, is AC/DC selectable and includes an ANSI square faceplate, and trim plate. The CX-ED1410 is UL 90 minutes fire and UL 1034 burglary listed and features a 3/4" latch projection. It is fully backed by Camden's 'no hassle' 5 year warranty.

New glass mounting kit
|
Our new CM-43LP two piece 4 1/2" square shallow mounting box now has an option for mounting on glass! The low cost CM-43GMK includes a glass cleaner and double sided adhesive pad for quick and easy mounting. The CM-43LP box has been specifically designed for surface mounting wireless 4-1/2" push plate switches and makes changing wireless transmitter batteries easier.
